OK! So there are 850 + people signed up on ncdsa.com for this race. I’m sure we will get 1000. Please get to the race early. Because of the protests down on Wall Street, I’m sure that the Police won’t take kindly to 1000 longboarders skating past the check point near Wall Street. Please do NOT stay at the Bull when you are finished. Please skate on to the Barbecue. 1000 skaters at the Bull will just piss off an already irate Police Department.

ABOUT
- The Broadway Bomb started in 2000 as a branch off from the Central Park Race. While the Central Park Race was satisfying, many yearned for something more. Ian Nichols and Fred Mahe came up with the idea of a race to skate in trafﬁc and called it the Broadway Bomb. The ﬁrst race was small, only 14 skaters. This year on the tenth anniversary we expect to have over 1000 skaters. This race is the highlight of skater!s whole lives. They train all year for 30 minutes of glory!
RULES
- 1. WEAR A HELMET! If you are not wearing a helmet you will not be eligible for any prizes!
- 2. NO SKITCHING!! You can touch cars and trucks but not to propel you forward
- 3. NO knocking other riders off their boards, if you do this intentionally I’ll just slap you (hard)
- 4. NO knocking down pedestrians!!!! One sure way to attract the Police
- 5. Please stay on Broadway as much as possible.
